Donna Hall (2011-2012)

Donna and her husband, Steve, went on the club's winter trip to Vail this year. They had wonderful accommodations in Vail that included a short walk out the back door of the hotel to the shuttle to the gondola at Lion’s Head Village. The walk was picturesque with a path across a cute little wooden bridge. Well, as luck would have it, the weather was quite cold, and the bridge was a bit icy. As the group walked down the path, everyone warned one another that the bridge was icy. Well, the warning wasn't enough for Donna, and boom down she goes hard on one knee. Everyone rushed to see how her knee felt, and she said she had no pain. As a matter of fact, part way through the day skiing she commented on how good it felt and she really hadn't hurt it at all. At the end of the day, Donna and Steve were walking back along the path and stopped to reflect on the "scene of the accident". As they began walking again, she slipped in the same spot and pulled a muscle that bothered her the rest of the week. Hence, this member really deserves the Horse's Ass award.
